THE ITALIANS WENT HOME

Day 21

28th April

Weather warm n windy

GPS Albinia carpark

What another night in a carpark.. Yes !! This one has a “Thou shalt Not “but we ignored it and moved to a place out of the way ..It seemed to be the Coop carpark in Albinia and the Carabinieri (Police) haven’t moved us on ..A magnificent bowl of Pasta and asparagus has been cook by The Driver on strict instructions from the Cook ..Better watch him or The Cook will be redundant ( She’s blogging )Job share…

Where the hell are we you ask ? We’re within a cats spit of the coast on a bank holiday and like Blackpool it’s packed ….The idea of holing up here is to wait for the Italians to GO HOME and hopefully have this bit of the Mediterranean coast to our selves

I don’t think there are enough superlative to give the Tuscan hills in glorious sunshine .Just come and have a look for your selves and here is our reconstruction of The Towers of San Gimignano in sausage n mash

  1. Worth a slight detour is a museum where you can stay overnight with water et cetera. I think it is called museum de piano, in a place called Latina. Camp in the trees. Aim to spend an day there as it is a huge museum with lots of different themes. Strangely, not in any guidebooks but I think this is because there’s not much else around the area. Other than some of Mussolini‘s experimental working small holdings where houses are all numbered, where he moved people in out of very poor areas.

  2. Have you imported those sausages from Blighty? They don’t look like what you can get in the shops here!!
