Miranda del Castañar was our next port of call ..dominated by the castle in front of which the town square doubles as the bull fighting ring …pleasant village ..

We are here in a fully serviced car park or Aire N40.48841 W6.11670 at 3600 feet above sea level and staying over night
A very well preserved 18th C village typical regional style maintained in the area but all the villages have some dereliction …see photos

Beer o’clock a few olives sundries toms and supper of tinned ham layonnaise potatoes salad de jour with a lump of cheddar and a glass of France red to finish the day …
